HSSD alternative respite
HSSD Needs Your Help
HSSD is looking for people to help families with disabled children…. A new scheme is being launched to give their parents a break, lasting anyting from a few hours to overnight stays. If you would like more information you can go along to an open meeting tonight from 8pm at the PEH
i guess this is the cheapest alternative to funding a new respite unit...have parents been consulted on this ludicrous idea...i very much doubt it....would you want to leave your disabled child with a complete stranger who in all probability will have no experience with caring for a disabled child...hunter adam needs to rethink this stupid idea.
