Interior strip outs, site clearance and minor demolition
Alongside our existing product of offering temporary Health & Safety ticketed site operatives, we are now offering pricing of interior strip outs, small demolitions and site clearances. http://labourforcegsy.co.uk/id4.html
We can either continue to offer our operatives at an hourly rate under your control and supervision or you can hand the site to us to clear, prepare and ready for your building and renovation works.
If you have any sites, buildings or rooms that you would like a quote to strip out then please don't hesitate to contact us.
Thank you

'Health & safety ticketed site operatives'
A lot of us in the construction industry have many years experience along with a healthy dose of common sense which means we dont need a health and safety ticket to do our job. This ensures that the customer doesnt have to pay all the extra costs that the health and safety rules bring to the job. These extra costs can be quite considerable.

If getting a job means cutting corners to be cheaper, thats not really best practice and will come back to bite you. Look at the new states houses at Clos des Marais, where the contractor used cheap clips for the tiles. Its now costing them close to £30,000.00 out of their own pocket to put right. As a company we want to promote good working practice. We arent just throwing bodies at jobs, we are using men that we are getting trained ourselves through Normandie. This is the way of the world, as with almost everything else in Guernsey we are behind the times and as yet you dont by law need safety tickets on site, or steetworks tickets to work in the highways or operator tickets to use diggers and plant but you do on the mainland and it will eventually become normal practice here too. We can supply all the above. We are giving the customers piece of mind and contractors insurance companies would prefer they use our men rather than someone without tickets. In the event of any accident at least you have used a company that is using best practice.
Also, we charge much less than other firms do for site operatives. This doesnt cost the customer anything extra at all. The only thing extra this gives the customer is confidence in our service.
Other than Ronez (for tarmac), I think we were one of the only local contractors on both Waitrose sites recently because of our health and safety tickets. We have also been asked to supply rates for labour at the airport runway site because of our awareness of health and safety. Uk firms will not let you on site without them and even some of our own bigger firms too now.

Re: Interior strip outs, site clearance and minor demolition
I never said anything about cutting corners when doing a job to save money. All we do is cut out a lot of the unnecesary health and safety rules that only serve to make a job more expensive that it should be. A lot of health and safety rules mean having to employ a suit to sit at a desk and try to justify their jobs. The only people who are cutting corners are the big building firms who are employing imported labour on the cheap. Quite a few of them aren't even qualified tradesmen but they somehow seem to get away with it. A little health and safety with a lot of common sense is all that is needed.

Our operatives training is a one off cost to us, not the customer.
Without these health and safety tickets any operatives wouldnt be allowed to step foot on certain sites.
What trade are you in?
