Drought blaze fears
The drought is worrying firefighters who fear a simple act of carelessness could result in a major blaze, like the one which destroyed a large tranche of headland in St Ouen's Bay two years' ago.
Recent high temperatures and lack of rain have left gorse and other headland vegetation tinder dry.
Firefighters in Jersey have asked us all to take extra care. (from CTV)
