Sir Norman wants to stand down in June
Alderney President Sir Norman Browse has announced he wants to step down at next month's States Meeting.
Sir Norman, who is 79, has been president for the last ten years.
He is proposing that nominations for the job can be put in during the last week of this month with an election on Saturday 11 June.
Sir Norman wants to retire at the States meeting on 22 June, immediately after his successor has been sworn-in.
