Jedward beat Blue at Eurovision 2011

Jedward beat Blue at last night's Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The competition saw 25 countries battling for victory, with Azerbaijan emerging as the winners with Ell/Nikki's 'Running Scared'.

Former X Factor finalists Jedward, who performed their track 'Lipstick', finished in eighth place, securing 119 points for Ireland.

Blue, meanwhile, received 100 points to place 11th on the scoreboard with 'I Can'

this competition if you can callit that is a complete waste of licence fees..britain contributes the biggest share of the funding..as for jedward they should be locked up for impersonating singers...once again the eastern block countries have stuck together..who has ever heard of the winning country let alone the winning duo...its time this nonsense was ent to the dungeons in bbc house.
