Drunken schoolchildren in mass brawl

A POLICEMAN was bitten and officers were forced to use CS spray as study leave celebrations in a St Brelade park erupted into a mass brawl

Twenty four police officers, including extra honorary officers from St Peter, were deployed as up to 50 drunken schoolchildren caused chaos in Sir Winston Churchill Park on Friday night.

At the height of the disorder, a policeman was bitten on the arm and officers used CS spray to calm the crowd, who were celebrating the start of GCSE study leave (from JEP)
