SOS – save our shopper say Sandy Hook store customers
USERS of Sandy Hook Shopper said they would be sad to see it go if permission is granted to turn the building into homes.
Owner Sandpiper has submitted a planning application to convert it into three dwellings and car parking spaces.
‘I think it is a real shame,’ said sales administrator Tessa Le Gallez,
‘My in-laws live round here and we use this shop quite a bit because we find it more convenient.
‘It is sad to see small shops like this disappearing – they are becoming a thing of the past (from GEP)
Its all down to costs, and the small shop cannot survive easily in todays trading...
