Motorists in the dark over tinted windows
THEY are becoming as common as spoilers, chrome hubcaps and fat exhausts.
But despite their popularity, many Jersey motorists could be in the dark about the legality of their tinted windows.
During the last few years, dozens of drivers have installed tinted front and back windows in the cars.
But the DVS is today warning that all tinted front widows must past strict safety tests before the car can take to the road. (from JEP)
