Facebook encounter that led to sex attack

A 50-YEAR-OLD man was shaking and crying as he was led out of court yesterday after being sentenced to six months in jail for indecently assaulting a 14-year-old girl.

The Man, who had his head bowed throughout the hearing, admitted indecently assaulting the teenager and procuring her to commit an act of gross indecency with him on 27 November at his home.

The Royal Court heard that the girl had previously demanded alcohol, cigarettes and sexual favours from mature men and repeatedly asked Sharman for sex.

He had became friends with the girl on social networking site Facebook and she and her 16-year-old friend visited him in early November to ask him to buy alcohol and cigarettes, the court heard. (from JEP)

is this a case of she asked for it..seems she was already experienced...

Alpy, on the quote you have used it would not be but this must only be part of the report. The quote states that she had "PREVIOUSLY demanded ...." to me this intimates that she has done it in the past which indicates that she has a bit of a history. I take it Sharman is the accused although that is not mentioned. The quote does mention that she asked Sharman for sex. At 14 she can't give consent for sex, hence why he got done. But as regards the attack is that crap reporting or did she decide to say "No" which she is allowed to do and if the male carry's on it becomes an attack. As in most cases we would have to read the whole transcript to get an idea of what really happened and not rely on the media who have been known to sensationalise.
