Man in court over drugs seizure.

A man has appeared before magistrates after being arrested on suspicion of importing drugs into Guernsey.

Francisco Da Costa Rodrigues, 38, who lives in St Peter Port, was
stopped by customs officers at the island's airport on Saturday.

He was found to be carrying a quantity of what officers believe to be heroin and cocaine.

He has been remanded in custody for four weeks and is likely to be sent for trial at the Royal Court.

This is a serious offence should if this bloke gets found guilty should he be deported ?
