‘Bridge big enough for both of us’ Guernsey sandwich shop says
A NEW sandwich shop on the Bridge has opened next to the Roll Bar due to the prime location and not to create a rivalry, its owner has said.
Hansens Grab N’ Go began operating on the Bridge last Monday where Fletcher Sports used to be.
Anthony Hansen said he had been looking to expand from Town for a couple of years and due to the lack of available premises on the Bridge, he had to grab the opportunity while it was there.
‘We are in a prime position for the Bridge,’ he said. ‘It’s on the main intersection, in the middle of the main drag and by one of the main entrances to Leale’s Yard, so if that takes off it will be great.

Cannot see that the two shops will survive myself... time will tell...
