Lottery ticket top prize keeps on rising latest amount so far!

The top prize in the Channel Islands Christmas Lottery has jumped to £330,000 - and that is after just two weeks of sales.

Organisers say ticket sales this year have been strong.

As in previous years, the first prize will continue to rise as more tickets are sold, and organisers are keen to encourage islanders to support the traditional Christmas draw.

Apart from the increasing first prize, which last year reached £750,000, the Lottery also has
additional prizes of £50,000 and £25,000, along with many £500 prizes. The Scratchcard part of
the ticket offers the chance of an instant cash prize of up to £5,000.

Lottery tickets cost £1 each and can be purchased at most newsagents and major outlets.

The jackpot in the 2011 Channel Islands Christmas Lottery has reached £535,500.

i think i saw it had now risen to £640,000 x

The jackpot in the 2011 Channel Islands Christmas Lottery has increased by more than £100,000 to £672,000.

will it reach the million who knows but it is my opinion that after £650,000 the prize money should be used to create extra prizes .

Someone in the Channel Islands is £751,500 richer after the draw for the Christmas lottery was made in Guernsey.

The winning ticket in the annual lottery was drawn on Thursday and the number is 1455646.

The second prize of £50,000 went to 664660 and the third prize of £25,000 to 2412583.

The 2011 Channel Island Christmas lottery jackpot was a record high beating the previous high of £750,000 set in 2010.

There are also 45 prizes of £500.
