"Starfest" in Sark
Sark's getting ready to celebrate its night sky.
It's the first place in the world to be awarded official "dark sky island" status, which is being used as a fresh way to attract visitors to the rock.
A "starfest" is taking place next week, on 17 and 18 March, to showcase the appeal of Sark to stargazers.
The event will include a presentation by Dr Marek Kukula, the Public Astronomer at Greenwich who will be talking about "A Tour Of The Universe".
Film-maker Sue Daly will be giving a lecture on the challenges of photographing the night sky.
And, weather-permitting, there'll be star-gazing as well.
To find out more about the events, contact Annie Dachinger on 01481 832740.
