Garry Collins, perhaps better known across the Islands as an International Bowls Competitor and award winning sports administrator is standing in the elections in the parish of the Vale.

Collins represented the Island at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and finished fifth in the men’s triples, he has also won three Guernsey Sports Commission Awards since 2005.

Collins officially left his job last week and was present in the States Chamber for the final session of the previous States assembley. He was a civil servant between 2000 and 2007, he has also worked in the private sector for 8 years.

Gary is in his early thirties.
