Guernsey Police start parish bike patrols
Guernsey Police officers are taking to mountain bikes this summer in the latest development in the force's community policing initiative.
High-visibility patrols have been identified as a key priority by Police Chief Patrick Rice following a series of meetings with parish officials.
Mr Rice said it would help his officers be proactive in tackling criminal damage and anti-social behaviour.
He said the patrols would be based in the parish centres

Should be very interesting to see a cop on a bike chasing the Cobo vandels as the roar off in their cars.
