Bank sues St Margaret’s Lodge Hotel for £1.3m.

The Royal Bank of Scotland plc has started an action in the Ordinary Division of the Royal Court to recover £1,351,555.05 from St Margaret’s Lodge Hotel Ltd.
The plaintiff is also seeking a preliminary vesting order on the hotel.
Proceedings were adjourned for two weeks after the court heard that St Margaret’s Lodge Hotel Ltd director Carlo Stefani, pictured, was unable to attend for health reasons.
Deputy Bailiff Richard McMahon said Mr Stefani was not in a position to say whether the claim would be accepted or disputed and it was unclear whether the hotel had any other directors who could act on his behalf.
