Guernsey parish wants to install more information boards
The success of information boards in Guernsey's St Peter Port parish has led to a move for more to be installed.
Two maps showing places of interest in the parish were put up in September 2011, one in Market Square and the other near the Liberation Monument.
Dennis Le Moignan, parish constable, said there had been good feedback from tourists.
He said previously a number of visitors arriving in the harbour had complained about a lack of directions.
Mr Le Moignan said plans had been submitted to the island's planning authorities for two more boards - one in Trinity Square and one by the Sunken Gardens.
If approved the money for the boards would come from the parish's town improvement funds.
