Wave Telecom introduces high speed internet at 3.6MG
Faster internet download speeds are being offered to islanders as Wave Telecom continues to further invest in its network with the launch of mobile broadband.
Islanders currently restricted to a 2MB landline broadband will now be able to take advantage of speeds up to 3.6MB. The move away from landline services to our mobile broadband means that islanders will be able to plug in their USB dongle and surf from wherever they like.
‘By Advancing our 3G capabilities we continue our commitment to bringing the latest mobile technology to the island,’ said Wave Telecom managing director Tim Ringsdore.
‘We recognise that many people have laptops and want access to the internet wherever they are, not just at home or in a wifi zone. Our mobile broadband service takes away those restrictions and will enable islanders to go online wherever they are while at the same time having the ability to pay only for the usage they need.’
Customers will also benefit from 24/7 customer support and promotional offers on laptop/netbooks. (from ICfeed)
So come on Sure get your act together...
