Guernsey warned of gales and high tide flood risk

A severe flood warning has been issued for Guernsey's west coast

A severe flood warning has been issued to people living near parts of Guernsey's coastline.
Gales of up to 50mph (80km/h), combined with a high tide of 10m (33ft) after 0600 GMT on Sunday are expected to cause problems in low lying areas.
Conditions are expected to be hazardous on the coast road in the west of the island and there is also a risk of damage to sea defences.
The bad weather is travelling up from the coast of Spain.
