AN Iceland frozen food store is to be opened in Georgetown some time early in June.

The new store, which is being brought to the Island by Sandpiper CI, will be in the front of the Wine Warehouse in Georgetown.

As the Iceland store's area of 4,000 square feet will be below the Sunday trading threshold, Sandpiper have applied to the Constable of St Saviour to be able to open it seven days a week.

Sandpiper's chief executive officer, Tony O'Neill, said that they considered the time was right to open an Iceland store in the Island.(from thisisjersey)

Lets hope it won't be long before Guernsey get one
