Children stand on a wheelie bin to reach their swing

A NEW children’s playground at Beau Sejour is worrying parents.

Although it has been packed out during half term, two bits of equipment in the lower park have been labelled unsafe.

One is rotating swing that four children at a time can hang onto.

Its height means that youngsters have been standing on top of a wheelie bin to reach it.

Culture and Leisure minister Mike O’Hara said every piece of equipment had full health and safety certification. (from GEP)
