How not to run a Crown dependency, Jersey in the spotlight again.
Jersey politicians just increased GST to 5% so every £100 pounds islanders spend on food ,utilities actually anything bought on the island you then pay the tax man £5.00 so the cost becomes £105. Is this why they need the money, to pay off civil servants who resign or who are asked to leave.?
It is easy to give away other peoples money, the Mad hatters tea party continues

The biggest breaking story ( not found in the main stream media ) Accountancy firm BDO Alto, cousin of BDO Guernsey, are facing serious questions for a report that appears to be biased, data protection law breaking , and against the laws of the accountancy governing body.
A letter to the Governing Authority from Lenny Harper laying out the case.
Dear Mrs McNeela,
Thank you for your letter of 31st May in respect of the above complaint file involving BDO.
I am slightly puzzled as to your view that the complaint does not come within your remit. My complaint is not simply that I was not told about the investigation by BDO. My complaint is about the poor work, professional conduct and the lack of integrity shown in this matter. My complaint is that they allowed themselves to be used as part of a concerted attempt by the Jersey government to smear myself as the lead investigator, my boss, and abuse victims in an attempt to prevent crimes of child abuse committted by officials of the goverment from being brought to notice.
Is this yet another cover attempt by the Jersey Government that has blown up in their faces due to diligent research by the blogging fraternity ?
In several easy read parts, is Guernsey BDO any better?
