Education keeps key GCSE exam results secret
EDUCATION has refused to release GCSE data that would show whether local schools really do outperform their English counterparts.
It published preliminary results last week based on how many pupils achieved grades A* to C, as it has historically, and used the figure to show Guernsey schools achieving a better pass rate – 75% to 69.8%.
But the performance benchmark in England is based on five A* to Cs including maths and English – results Education withholds.
Why...What is there to hide?
Re: Education keeps key GCSE exam results secret
they are trying to hide the fact that some schools did rubbish!
