Cannabis campaigners 'walk for weed*
The group of 15, some masked to hide their identity, gathered at South Esplanade in Town and walked to the Bridge for the ‘Walk for Weed’ event.
Protesters were brandishing banners and posters calling for the Class B drug to be made legal.
They were escorted by four police officers – two walking at the front and two at the back. The officers said they were there purely for road safety purposes.
