Watsons: ‘We’re expecting again’

MUM-of-13 Joanne Watson is pregnant again – just seven months after having given birth.
Mrs Watson, 37, is three months into her fifteenth pregnancy. She told the Daily Mirror she loved being pregnant and always managed to get back to her ideal weight, 7st 5lbs, after giving birth.
She said she was back in her size-six jeans – US size zero – within five days of delivering seven-month-old Tallulah, the most recent addition to the family.
Baby Tallulah has lots of siblings to play with her at the family’s St Martin’s home. Mrs Watson and husband John, 43, have Arnie, two, Nerilly-Jade, three, Lilly-arna, four, Charlie, six, Febrianne, seven, Brittany, eight, Caitlin, nine, Georgia, 11, Mariah, 13, Shanice, 16, Bradley, 18, and Natasha, 19. Their fourth baby, Augustina, was born prematurely and died at only 20 hours old. (from thisisguernsey)

When asked if this will be the last, Joanne said: 'I always say we'll stop having kids when we're good and ready. And I'm nowhere near ready to retire my maternity clothes yet.'

Well what can I say....

a damned disgrace.this family are being subsidised by the taxpayers of guernsey for god alone knows how much on a weekly basis.she thinks she is gods gift swanning around st martins with all her kids dressed in designer clothes.he isn't earning enough to pay for the fancy clothes and car and we all saw what the house was like they want for nothing.sterilise her is what i would say.

I generally like to keep fairly neutral on most subjects, however in this case we have someone who is clearly profiteering from having so many children.

I guess an objective person would say that as long as the kids are happy and loved etc. then who are we to say what she should and shouldn't do, but the public is already aware that they defrauded the benefits system locally resulting in the husband going to prison as I remember.

It also appears that the Daily Mirror were the first paper to 'break' the story - making me think that they were contacted by the family to 'sell' their story.

I can't think of another reason why a national paper would have got to hear first.

I think they are taking the p**s i have no problem with family's having as many kids as they like but to scrounge of the States and the tax payer is just terrible . The thing that winds me up the most is they don't even care ,he is now driving a lorry without a care in the world and she is clearing the shelves at the coop . I suppose the difference between me and them is i could not look people in the face .

Why are the states letting them do this surely there should be a cut off point this has gone way to far. And she has no intention in stopping just yet. They are not the only ones but they do stand out by far.

I spose the Watsons story are deflecting the bigger issues impacting on the island.......

subsidised pre-school fees that's what pisses me off, help from the states even after they won the lottery...

The states should pay for pre-school and help hard working mums like myself to help pay for my child care costs and pre-school fees. This island makes me Sh1t.

I think that gossip on our Island is almost out of control an it seems people just believe what they want to hear.

Firstly I was told it was much less than £6500 and they had to give some to the states

also I was told the boobs were done from her lottery winnings.

I think the Watons are intitled to have as many children as they like as long as they can afford to keep them, what really annoys me and many others we are only having 1 or 2 children, both hubby and wife working to support our families while we contribute to support people like this :x

You know the Gov like stories like the Watsons because it does take pressure of them and they know that because of the gossips in the island (there are thousands of em) important issues are not dealt with. It's a pity that the same enthusiasm, determination and anger is not channeled towards the bigger picture instead of pathetic gossip and bitching about a family who the system created in the first place.

oooh darned...don't we have a sequel??? I was warming to the saga...after all...for once...I am not the one footing the bill!!! LOL

Will it bother any of us in 100 years from now???? - and I do feel very sorry for the children it is in no way their fault - but when people are having a go at their parents it must rub off on them!!!! What a start in life!!!

there is another baby but it is not the mum who is having it it is her daughter ,so they will be grandparents again
