Stuck duck rescue!

Around 40 people had to be rescued earlier after the ferry they were on got stuck in the sea off St Helier.

The amphibious vessel was travelling between the seafront and Elizabeth Castle when it broke down at lunchtime.

Another ferry was sent out to rescue the passengers who were all transferred between the two safely.

Attempts to retrieve the stricken boat, which is run by Jersey Heritage, have so far failed and it has been decided to leave further rescue attempts until low tide this evening.

Staff are currently on board trying to find out what has gone wrong and Jersey Heritage says the operation of its other ferry will continue as normal.

Its all quackers to me..lol

That'll explain the 45min. delay at the castle on Monday :rolleyes:

I hope they got a warranty with those for their £400,000.00!
