More than 100 RBC staff members at Jersey Marathon

RBC will be registering 21 relay teams and six individual full marathon runners for this year's Jersey Marathon.

Last year 106 RBC employees took part, bringing together staff from across their locations in the British Isles – Jersey, Guernsey, London, Edinburgh and Cheltenham. And this year the company has surpassed its target of 100 runners, with 111 staff members currently registered to run with more last minute entries expected.

Laura Chellingworth, who works within RBC Corporate Employee and Executive Services (RBC cees), took part for the first time in 2007 and has continued running ever since.

"The training sessions are truly motivational and generate a real team spirit. Regardless of your running ability, the sessions provide essential preparation and training. I was inspired by my colleagues to register last year and have really seen my fitness levels improve. I have proved to myself that I can run and am really looking forward to this year’s relay," she said (from CIonline)
