Independent report on States police
Jersey's professional police have been under scrutiny by an independent assessor.
A report by Her Majesty's Inspector of Police has recently been handed over to the Home Affairs Minister.
Police Chief Graham Power is pleased with the report, but admits improvements are needed in the way the force operates.
HMI has identified three areas for action - management of forensic results; management of community intelligence (snippets of information from the public) and more structure in the management and assessment of risk.
Mr Power has promised to deliver an action plan within the next few weeks (from CIonline)
