Baggage handlers strike over pay "Update"
Baggage handlers at Jersey Airport will go on strike for three days later this month in a row over pay.
Thirty-two members of the T&G section of the Unite union will walk out on 18, 21 and 25 October.
Servisair Jersey has reassured passengers due to fly on those dates that there will be no disruption to flights as a result of the walkout.
Servisair, its employees and the union are due to meet on Monday in an effort to resolve the dispute.
A spokesperson for the airport's operator said it would be doing everything possible to avoid disruption.
If strike action does go ahead it would not affect all airlines because there is more than one baggage handling company at the airport. (from BBC News)

A strike by baggage handlers at Jersey airport has been called off after a deal over pay was agreed.
Thirty-two staff employed by Servisair were due to walk out on 18, 21 and 25 October.
But after talks between Servisair, the T&G union and arbitration officials, the union recommended that its members accept a revised pay deal.
Servisair is one of five firms handling baggage at the airport for Flybe, Jet2.com, Easy Jet and Aer Lingus. (from BBC News)
