Letter from the MS Society on their next fundraising event

HI Folks,

We really don’t know if it is possible to row 300,000 metres in just 24 hours - but we are going to find out!

At 11.00am on Saturday 29^th November, Sam de Kooker and Simon Johns will start this enormous challenge, trying to raise £3,000 in aid of the Guernsey branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The lads will be rowing on one of the Fitness Factory’s Concept 2 rowing machines, taking turns to row in half hour sessions. They’ll have to average an incredible 12.5 Kilometres per hour, 6,250 metres each half hour and one penny per metre to reach their target.
