Sure introduce new Ring Tone to avoid MNP confusion
A special ring tone's being set up so some mobile phone users will know what
network they're calling, now number portability's in place.
Sure Mobile say anyone ringing an 07781 number that's not on the same network
will hear a different tone.
The possibility of unknowingly facing cross-network charges has been raised
by their customers as a concern.
But head of PR Steve Smith is confident the ring-tone should help them avoid
any unexpected fees.
He says he's impressed with how the industry's worked together to get number
portability set up. (from Island FM)

I can see this getting even more confusing... but I bet the networks will reap the rewards.
