Are You legally Insured?

With the coming of the Insurance Disc being legal in Guernsey, a few points have been raised...

The main one is just because a car has an insurance disc is does not mean the driver is insured...

But another thing has come to light, is that there is some people who have taken out insurance online, are now finding out that they will not receive an insurance disc from these companies, because they are not recognised by the Guernsey Financial Commission

And this makes them not legally insured in Guensey,

Personally, I support local companies wherever possible so I am insured with a local broker.

I am too dell and have been displaying my disc since last may.will be interesting to see how many people rush to insure their cars now as i would think there are quite a few peeps driving around with no insurance since the demise of the tax disc.

I have always done my car insurance locally - never thought of going elsewhere........also never thought of driving without!!!
