Graffiti vandals strike again at church hall 0763210
VANDALS have targeted the Vale Church Hall for a second time.
A week after an unknown person cleared off one lot of graffiti, more has been sprayed onto the building.
The hall had been dubbed with the tag RSS and other images in spray paint earlier this month. On Sunday night, the same group targeted the hall again, this time using green paint to spray RSS and symbols onto the side of the building.
‘Within 48 hours of the last time, we noticed that somebody had cleaned it off, which we were going to do ourselves,’ said Vale Church rector the Rev. Kevin Northover.
‘I spoke to the hall caretaker and the committee and nobody knew who cleaned it up for us. We thought it might be the person who had a guilty conscience. But that was a bit of a false hope.’
Mr Northover said the latest incident had happened on Sunday evening as it had not been there earlier in the day. He assumed it was kids and said it would prove costly to clear up.(from thisisguernsey)
