The simple solution is to walk 100 yards to the petrol station and get refreshments at a quarter of the price.

All airports are the same it goes with the territory - captive audience and all that! Any seasoned traveller makes sure that they eat before getting there or take a snack with them.....

Re: What tourist think of our island
Good on you for finding some tourists in the first place!!!
With the cost of getting here, then the hotel prices and cost of everything... I thought they were almost a forgotten entity!!

I cant imagine a tourist is going to complain how big the Airport is.
The big Modern Glass Buildings are probably a complaint people who remember the old Guernsey would Say
Too Many Cars could be a complaint, would be a lot worse if we had the number of Tourists we used to have.
I agree abiut the Litter in many places
There are lots of places that are not expensive to eat out, i went to The Venture Inn Tonight and 2 Courses for £10 seems cheap to me also At The Wayside there are loads of Main Courses under £8, and many other places have similar deals
Hotel Accommodation is probably cheaper this year than it has been for years, Most Hotels cut there rates and there are many deals to be had B & B for £199 per week May/Jun/Sept and only £229 July/August, I really dont call that expensive.
