Anti-social letters for parents Empty Anti-social letters for parents

Parents in Alderney have been receiving letters from police if their children are found to be out late at night.
The move is aimed at improving anti-social behaviour which residents of Victoria Street have complained about.
Police said they are responding to concerns and have stepped up town monitoring at pub closing times.
Paul Davis who lives and works there said: "The worse thing is pub closing time. Sometimes it's the rowdyism coupled with the thump of the disco."
He added: "If you go to bed 10 o'clock you can guarantee being woken up at one o'clock.
"The police have tried moving them on, which I think by and large for the youngsters has worked, although I think parents have been quick to shift the responsibility on to the police." (from BBC)

Sorry at the end of then day the parents are to blame...
