£500,000 paid for Suspended Specialist

An estimated £500,000 has be wasted due to an ongoing "cock up" of a senior health staff member who was suspended in August 2007 with full pay and the issue still has yet to be resolved with a Locum standing in...

What a waste of tax payers money amd the States have been trying to cover up ...

£500,000 wasted, and the Social Services have been moaning that they are short of money?

This needs sorting out .... :x

It's more than £500,000 according to the report in the GEP :x
the galling part is the arrogance of everybody concerned - but it is not just them - if we put all the wastage in one pot the Black Hole would be filled to overflowing....... :x

I have been told of another senior member of staff who was suspended following a complaint from a junior member of staff and so locum/s were again brought in to cover the role. Again, this would be likely to be at significant cost!

Hunter Adams passed the buck neatly by saying it happened before he became the minister!!! Well that's OK then isn't it? What happened to a new broom sweeping clean........

The member of staff that I have been told about was within the time that he has been 'in charge' (if thats an appropriate term!!).
