House damaged in suspected arson in Guernsey

Police in Guernsey are investigating two suspected arson attacks, one of which led to a house being evacuated.
A car was set on fire in Les Landes, in the Vale, at about 2300 GMT and the fire spread to the house. There were no reported injuries.
In Houmtel Lane, a motorcycle and two cars were also badly damaged by fire.
Meanwhile, 10 people were arrested for other incidents overnight. Offences included attempted burglary, carrying an offensive weapon and assault. (from BBC)

I have been away in the UK and trust me, compared to there things here are not bad at all!! We are still a relatively low and minor crime area in comparison to some areas!

That's not bad to worse. That sort of thing was happening 20 years ago and 10 arrests is just a busy night, hardly exceptional.
