Registration is open for the 48 mile Itex Jersey walk

Registration for people wanting to take part in the Itex Walk is now open.
The Itex Around the Island Walk raised nearly £125,000 for charitable causes in 2009. The 2010 walk is taking place on Saturday 19 June.
The walk measures 48.1 miles and sets off from town going anti clockwise round the island.
The route of the walk follows the cliff paths along the north of the island all the way back round to town along St Aubin's Bay.
Among the charities benefiting from people making the 48.1 mile trek in 2009 was Holidays for Heroes Jersey which received £20,000.
They used the money to provide and additional 35 to 40 holidays for 164 heroes, their spouses, carers, partners and children.
The charity is hoping to benefit again this year from the walk.(from BBC)
