Police 'cold call' warning
Police in Guernsey are warning islanders to be on guard after a number of cold call incidents targeting the elderly.
People posing as traders have been offering to check electrical supplies or do work on houses, that isn't necessary.
Guernsey Police say islanders should not let anyone indoors who has not made a prior appointment.
They say all official departments should be able to provide photo ID.
Anyone who has any concerns should contact the police control room
