Police 'pavement surf' warning
Guernsey's narrow roads may sometimes make driving on the pavement unavoidable - but the police are warning islanders to do so with care.
The force has teamed up with pedestrian safety group Living Streets to crack down on drivers carelessly speeding on the footpaths.
They say they'll be reporting and prosecuting motorists who don't slow down or stop.
To kick the campaign off they'll be out in force this afternoon Bailiff's Crossroads catching any so-called pavement surfers.
