Bank Robbers

Is it just me or did anyone else become incensed with Nat West bank's treatment of a customer who has held an account for over 30yrs is asked "What do you need it for?" When he declined to tell them was then refused access to his own money!I appreciate the need for caution in this "money laundering age" BUT he has been a customer for over 30 yrs and is 71yrs old!Does no one use their commonsense anymore?

I was considering opening an account with them ..this has made me change my mind
If i was that customer i would at the first opportunity change banks ,

its a damned disgarce.i would just close my account and tell them where to shove their bank x
