Vandals hit sports centre and nursery at Les Quennevais

VANDALS caused thousands of pounds worth of damage at Les Quennevais Sports Centre at the weekend.
Manager Chris Ricketts said that five windows were peppered with something resembling ‘machine-gun fire’ causing £6,000 worth of damage on Saturday night.
Vandals also smashed a shed at a neighbouring nursery and the children’s play house was ruined at the same time, which has left the children at the nursery unable to play outside.
The police are looking for those who caused the damage, who could be as young as 11 or 12, according to witnesses. (from JEP)
