Liquid nightclub will close next week

LIQUID nightclub, Envy Bar Rock and Chicago Rock Café are to close – the company behind the Waterfront bars and clubs is pulling out of Jersey.
Liberation Group chief executive Mark Crowther has confirmed that Luminar will close down its Jersey operations next Tuesday.
It is not clear how many full-time and part-time jobs will be lost when Liquid and Chicago Rock Café close. Liberation Group plan to take over The Bar and retain as many staff as possible.
Luminar has not responded to requests for a comment.
