The Jersey Boat Show begins
Tomorrow marks the start of the boating season, and the Jersey Boat Show begins. It's being held over the next three days at St Helier Marina.
To get a taste of life on the ocean waves visitors can go onboard a variety of boats including 79 metre Fisheries Protection vessel, HMS Mersey; the Tall Ship, Lord Nelson; the Port of Jersey tug, Duke of Normandy and two of the Navy's training vessels, HMS Tracker and Trumpeter.
Visitors can also try a dive and eat sea food at the Fisherman's Village. On Saturday the world famous Beat Retreat by the Band of her Majesty's Royal Marines will be played.
They're accompanied by young musicians from Jersey in a Gala Concert at Jersey's Opera House.
