Former Bailiff asked to resign as Judge
Jersey's only political party have called for the former Bailiff to resign from his post as a Commissioner of the Royal Court.
President of the Jersey Democratic Alliance, Ted Vibert says Sir Philip Bailache breached the code of conduct for members of the Judiciary, by commenting on current political issues.
Mr Vibert says Sir Philip's interview with local media regarding the Zero-Ten tax policy, the islands relationship with the European Union and dual role of the Bailiff have made his position as an acting judge untenable. (from CTV)
