‘Don’t break promises on tourism funding’
A MILLION pounds could be put into a fund which backs tourism projects to stimulate and drive the industry.
Senator Francis Le Gresley wants to change ministerial spending plans for next year to take out £1m allocated to a long-term project to build a new police station, and invest the money in a dwindling tourism fund instead.
He says that despite years of talk about supporting the tourism industry, politicians have failed to back up their words with actions (from JEP)
