Guernsey free prescription delivery begins
A free prescription collection and delivery service has begun in Guernsey for the first time.
Pharmacist Niall Kealy started the business after getting approval from the Health and Social Services board.
He said: "We do have quite a few customers who are in very busy jobs and they need their medicines, but they work each day 'til six, seven o'clock."
He added the service would also benefit housebound people, and operations like it are well established in the UK.
He added that all proper checks were in place to ensure the correct prescriptions were given to the right people.

Re: Guernsey free prescription delivery begins
That is a great idea as long as it is not too costly .and medicines are costly enough.
It would be good for me as i dont drive and have to walk to the surgery to get mine ,
