Kicking up a stink over dog mess
Jersey's Parish Constables are being quizzed over dog waste.
St Helier Deputy Richard Rondel wants to know what they're going to do to owners who fail to remove their dog's mess.
The Deputy is also asking the Comite des Connetables chairman if there have been any fines imposed for dog fouling offences over the past three years and, if so, how much were owners fined.
Deputy Rondel is particularly concerned about fouled pavements in the town area.

it only takes a few seconds to pick up the poo and dispose of it properly...

I agree thistle - I tackled one of my neighbours about it a few years ago and she did not understand what the problem was - after explaining the risks to young children playing around the area it solved the problem
