New air route to Oxford Empty New air route to Oxford

A new air route between Jersey and London Oxford is due to begin in May - manx2.com is operating a seven-day-a-week service and will normally use Jetstream 31 aircraft similar to the Blue Island service.

Passengers, though, will have to spend a night at their point of destination. The departure time is 13:50 from Jersey, arriving in London Oxford an hour later.

The return flight will leave at 12:25 the following day, arriving in Jersey at 13:30.

The service will daily connect through Oxford to the Isle of Man, providing a link between the two Crown Dependencies.

Manx2.com was set up in 2006 by Noel Hayes - the founder of Le Cocqs Airlink, which became Rockhopper and then Blue Islands.

Manx2.com also runs a seasonal service between Jersey and Gloucester.
