Get your syndicates ready!

Tickets for the Jersey Hopsice Care Million Pound Lottery go on sale in eight weeks.

The charity is encouraging islanders to get their syndicates ready and start saving.

6,000 tickets, priced at £300 each will be available at Lloyds TSB branches in St Helier and St Brelade from Monday 16 April.

It is the biggest annual fundraiser for Hospice and brings in £500,000.

A total of £1,300,000 in prize money will be given away, with £1 million as first prize, followed by £100,000, £75,000, £50,000, £25,000 and five prizes of £10,000.

There is a one in 600 chance of winning a prize of at least £10,000.

Jersey Hospice Care’s Chairman Dr Gari Purcell-Jones said: “We can’t believe it‘s come round so quickly again but the 2012 Jersey Hospice Care Million Pound Lottery is fast approaching and we’re hopeful work syndicates, families and friends and individuals will gather together to support us once again.

“We’d really like everyone to buy their tickets as soon as possible. We have more than eighty volunteers helping us to sell tickets and we are very grateful to them for donating so much of their time to us. It would be wonderful for their sakes if we could sell out by the end of May so please start getting your syndicates ready now."

Winning numbers will be drawn on Friday 14th September at Grand Jersey and will be broadcast live on Channel Television.
